TRADITIONAL CZECH GLASS AND CRYSTAL
For the manufacturing of glass stones we use both sodium potassium coloured glass rods and crystal clear glass rods. All glass rods are of Czech origin. In order to meet current standards we use mostly unleaded material.
The tradition of hand-pressing, which remains virtually unchanged to these days, goes back to the second half of the 18th century. Back then the main approach was to melt glass rods in fire and then shape the stones using pressing pliers. While this basic process remains the same, the rest of our manufacturing techniques go much further. Experienced craftsmen combine glass rods of multiple colours, add glass brash and/or various metals such as gold or silver. Each hand made stone becomes a unique piece of art.
The experience and skill of our craftsmen enables us to provide our wide range of colours, shapes and designs of beautiful stones for personalised jewellery making.
